Army, FC, Police Hold Flag March Ahead Of Polls

MUZAFFARABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th july, 2016) : The Army, Frontier Constabulary (FC) and Police personnel Wednesday held a spectacular flag march to show their preparedness for maintaining law an order situation during General Elections-2016. The march was taken out in almost 14 constituencies, out of 29 in AJK, declared sensitive by the Election Commission of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Rescue-1122 and Fire-brigade teams also participated in the power demonstration In Muzaffarabad, the march started from the District Courts Complex and culminated at the same place after taking round of different parts of the city.
The deployment of 23,000 Army troops, 4,000 FC , 4,000 Punjab and 2,000 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police personnel was made on the requisition and as per polling scheme of the Election Commission. In sensitive Constituencies four to 10 Army troops have been deployed at each polling station and three Jawans at normal polling station each.
