Arrangements Finalized For Sachal Sarmast Urs In Sukkur

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2018 ) :A meeting presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner Khairpur, Riaz Hussain Wassan held at his office on Friday. The meeting finalized arrangements for the 197th annual Urs celebrations of Sachal Sain scheduled from 14th of Ramadan.
The meeting decided that former Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah would inaugurate the Urs whereas ministers, MNAs and MPAs would also be invited at different events. The members further pointed out that the halls constructed for Mehfil-e-Sama near the shrine lacked many technical facilities.
The ADC Khairpur told the meeting that the Mehfil-e-Sama Hall would be provided with facilities. The celebrations will comprise events, such as Mehfil-e-Sama, a national literacy conference at the Daraza Sharif auditorium, mushaira and raga concert, Awards will also be presented to eminent personalities of the country.
Sugharan Ji Katchery and traditional Sindhi games will also be a part of the celebrations.
