Asfandyar Wali Khan Condemns Murder Attempt On ANP Leader

Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan Monday condemned the murder attempt at the party's central vice president Senator Daud Khan Achakzai in Qilla Saifullah.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2018 ) :Awami National Party (ANP) President Asfandyar Wali Khan Monday condemned the murder attempt at the party's central vice president Senator Daud Khan Achakzai in Qilla Saifullah.

The ANP chief, in a statement, said the recent terrorist incidents were aimed at hampering the electoral process.

However, the ANP would remain in the field, he added.

He said the provision of security to the election candidates was the responsibility of caretaker governments and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and they should their responsibility.
