ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / NNI - 21st March, 2019) Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Jamiat Ulema islam Fazl (JUIF) chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman Thursday held a meeting and deliberated over current political situation.Bother leaders expressed dissatisfaction over Pakistan Tehreek Insaf's (PTI) performance.
Asif Zardari said the Federal government has completely failed in giving relief to the people and is only doing politics of revenge against the opposition.Zardari told the JUIF chief that government had failed to provide relief to the masses.
He alleged that the government was constantly targeting the opposition with revengeful tactics. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said the actions by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were more of a political revenge than accountability.
He accused the rulers of running the country with no prior experience.
Fazl alleged that the government wasn't serious in implementing the National Action Plan (NAP) [on counter terrorism].Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had appeared before the National Accountability Bureau on Wednesday in Islamabad and recorded their statements in the Park Lane Estate case.Earlier, on March 19, the Sindh High Court (SHC) had granted protective bail for ten days to the former president in the fake bank accounts and Park Lane cases against a surety of Rs1 million each.
It also accepted the bail plea from Faryal Talpur in the money laundering case for Rs1 million.A banking court in Karachi had last week transferred the money laundering case against the former president, his sister and others to Rawalpindi on a request by NAB. NNI
