ASPs, DSPs Best Supervisors For Up-gradation Of Police Stations: IGP Punjab

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Amjad Javed Saleemi has said that ASPs and DSPs should perform the role of best supervisors for up-gradation of the police stations.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab, Amjad Javed Saleemi has said that ASPs and DSPs should perform the role of best supervisors for up-gradation of the police stations.

He expressed these views while addressing a 'darbar' (meeting) of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASPs) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSPs) here at central police office on Thursday.

The IGP while directing the officers said that by the system of self-accountability ASPs and DSPs should initiate process of reforms at police stations and check record of 25 registers of police stations.

They should also take action against the officials who indulge in corruption, misuse of power and delay lodging of the FIRs.

He said that resource management centres should be established in all districts and ensure cleanliness, renovation and paint of building of police stations.

He said health insurance card will be provided to officials of police for providing them with the best health facilities.

At the darbar, the IG heard issues of ASPs, DSPs and issued orders for their quick addressal.

Additional IGs, DIGs with other officers of CPO were also present.
