Baby Dies After Wrong Blood Transfusion In Karachi

Husnain’s father said that his child had jaundice but doctors gave him an overdose and administered wrong blood, deteriorating his condition.
Karachi (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 28th April, 2019) A 3-month-old baby died in Karachi due to transfusion of wrong blood.
According to details, little Husnain was brought to a private clinic in Malir by his parents because of chest pain. He was suffering from jaundice.
The doctors administered wrong blood to the baby following which his condition started deteriorating. The wrong blood and drug overdose had affected his brain severely.
The parents took their baby to various hospitals but all of them refused to treat him.
The parents were taking him to Liaqat National Hospital when he died on the way.

Earlier in the day, a minor girl died in Karachi because of wrong injection.
The eight-year-old girl was taken to a private clinic over little illness.
The fake doctor at the clinic gave her the wrong injection, resulting in her immediate death.
The parents of the girl took her dead body to Jinnah Hospital for post-mortem but hospital’s MLO Dr Zakia refused to conduct her post-mortem.
The family stayed at the hospital for hours with the dead body but to no vain.
