Bahawalpur Police Arrest 13 Drug Peddlers, Seizes 24 Kg Hashish

During the police campaign against contraband substances, the district police have seized 24 kilogram of marijuana (Hash), arrested 13 drug peddlers and registered 13 cases under section 9-C of CrPC during last three months.
BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2018 ) :During the police campaign against contraband substances, the district police have seized 24 kilogram of marijuana (Hash), arrested 13 drug peddlers and registered 13 cases under section 9-C of CrPC during last three months.
According to Sajjad Sindhu Station House Officer (SHO) Police Station Saddar, police unearthed four alcohol distilleries which led to the recovery of huge quantity of liquor, arrested 16 accused and registered eight cases.
He said that police also raided four houses used for adultery and sealed them. During the operation, the SHO said that nine First Information Reports (FIRs) were also lodged over possession of illegal arms and police recovered a Kalashnikov rifle, pistol and revolver from their possession.
