
Balochistan Minister Suspends Absentee Doctors

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Augst,2016) : Provincial Health Minister, Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch paid a surprise visit to Sandeman Civil Hospital Quetta and suspended doctors and paramedics who were found absent from duty. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister expressed his annoyance over the absence of doctors and paramedics.
He said "Stern departmental actions will be taken against the doctors and paramedical staff found absent from their work place in state-run hospitals and health centres". "It is the responsibility of staff working at hospital to ensure their attendance to serve patients who visit hospital from far flung areas", he added. He was also briefed by the hospital management about the different sections and wards.
