Bangladesh committed to develop Muslim Ummah through enhanced cooperation: Bangladesh High Commission

Referring to the successful holding of the 45th Council of Foreign Ministers of Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Dhaka earlier this month under the theme of 'Islamic Values for Sustainable Peace, Solidarity and Development', the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan, Tarik Ahsan has said that Bangladesh was committed to the development of Muslim Ummah through enhanced cooperation.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd May, 2018 ) :Referring to the successful holding of the 45th Council of Foreign Ministers of Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Dhaka earlier this month under the theme of 'Islamic Values for Sustainable Peace, Solidarity and Development', the Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan, Tarik Ahsan has said that Bangladesh was committed to the development of Muslim Ummah through enhanced cooperation.

The Bangladesh High Commissioner said this during hosting iftar-dinner at a local hotel here on the other day. He said, in Ramadan, Muslims went through a training of self-restraint, humility and compassion, adding that if the practice of these qualities continued throughout the year, the society would be elevated to a higher level of morality and humanity.

The iftar-dinner was attended, among others, by Federal Minister for Law and Justice Chaudhry Mahmood Bashir Virk, Members of National Assembly Isphanyar M. Bhandara and Marvi Memon, Former Federal Minister & Senator Nisar A.

Memon, Former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nawabzada Malik Amad Khan and Special Secretary� of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shah M. Jamal. Ambassadors/High Commissioners, diplomats/Defence Advisors from diplomatic missions, politicians, bureaucrats, businessmen, journalists, elite of the society, officials of Bangladesh High Commission, Bangladesh expatriates and Bangladesh defence officials attending training in Pakistan also attended the iftar-dinner.
