Basic Facililties To Be Provided At Land Record Centres: Minister

Provincial Minister Revenue Malik Muhammad Anwer has said the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan is to make positive changes in every institution for the sake of the common man.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Sep, 2018 ) :Provincial Minister Revenue Malik Muhammad Anwer has said the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan is to make positive changes in every institution for the sake of the common man.

The minister said that he recently visited Pindi Ghaip and Fateh jhang's land records centres and people had made numerous complaints.

He expressed these views while meeting with DG Land Record M Aslam Rao here on Wednesday.

DG Land Record Muhammad Aslam Rao told the provincial minister that they were working on eradication of "Tout" system and talks continued regarding on-line system with Nadra and BOP.

Apart from this, there is also dialogue going on with the State Bank and the National Bank for the online Mortgage system and hope that it will be signed in October 2018.

He also briefed that security camera system installed at every centres for better monitoring and Assistant Commissioner of every Tehsil bounded to visit regularly related centers.

The DG said that record centres faced shortage of staff and most people were working on one year contract basis.

The minister said that provision of all basic facilities in public welfare organizations was an agenda of the PTI.

He assured the DG that he would provide full support to further improve the performance of land record centres for the betterment of the common man.
