Beautification Of Canal Road To Start Soon

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2025) Deputy Commissioner Nadeem Nasir said that the district administration had initiated

a beautification plan focused on the city's prominent Canal Road and this project would

commence soon.

Presiding over a meeting here on Saturday, he said that the project would help transform the

area through installation of monuments, decorative fountains, plantation of fresh greenery

and improved urban infrastructure.

He said that a comprehensive plan was devised which included significant enhancements to

lighting, green belts and pedestrian walkways, reflecting a holistic approach to city beautification

and public convenience.

He said that the traffic police had also been assigned a task of preparing a special plan for

maintaining smooth and uninterrupted vehicular movement throughout the construction phase

so that the beautification efforts do not disrupt flow of traffic.
