Bid to smuggle hashish in peanut packets foiled

Authorities seize 900 gram drugs at Islamabad International Airport.

Islamabad- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 19^th March, 2019) Anti-Narcotics Force and Customs Authorities have foiled a bid to smuggle hashish in peanut packets from Islamabad International Airport to Dubai.

According to details, a person namely Riaz was trying to smuggle hashish in peanut packets.

However, when the anti-narcotics authority intercepted the person to clear their doubts, they found hashish stuffed in the peanut shells.

Riaz was carrying three to four packets and the weight of the seized drug was 900 grams, according to the authorities.

A case under smuggling drug act was registered against the accused.
