PPP chairman links his appearance before NAB to his National Assembly Speech
ISLAMABAD- (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News- 20th March, 2019) PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has linked his appearance before NAB to his National Assembly speech.
Addressing PPP workers after the appearance before NAB Rawalpindi, he said NAB, JITs and other puppet institutions summoned them whenever they made a speech in the National Assembly.
He said his party would continue protest against the inclusion of those people in the cabinet who have their connections with the banned outfits.
Bilawal said it was his party’s mistake for not amending the law when it was in power. He said it was PPP’s weakness that it did not change the ‘black law’ which was introduced by the dictator.
He said coming into power PPP would wipe the constitution of every law made by the former military dictator.
He said PPP leadership would not be afraid of these tactics and face them bravely.
Earlier, Bilawal and Zardari were grilled by the NAB in Fake Account and Park Lane Property case for two hours. The father-son duo was given a questionnaire regarding the case.
A good number of PPP supporters were presented before the NAB office and they chanted slogans in favor of their leadership before and after their appearance before the anti-graft body.
