The Chairman of PPP conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and expressed his profound shock and grief over the unfortunate incident. He emphasized the importance of citizens taking necessary safety measures during the rainy season to prevent such tragedies.
Bilawal urged the Sindh government to provide comprehensive support to the families affected by disasters of such kind.
He stressed that vulnerable citizens impacted by climate change must not be left to fend for themselves.
Additionally, he called upon civil society to actively engage in raising awareness about climate change and its consequences among the public.
Highlighting the increasing frequency of lightning incidents over the past decade, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attributed this alarming trend to climate change. He reiterated that Pakistan is one of the countries most severely affected by climate change and emphasized the need for collective action to address this pressing issue.
