KP House charged the tea given to Saleem Safi and his team from national exchequer.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 9th July, 2018) Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister Pervez Khattak offered tea worth Rs 1.75 lac to the team of program ‘Jirga’ hosted by renowned journalist Saleem Safi.
Revealing about this mighty feast, Safi said that Pervez Khattak treated me and my team with a tea party of Rs 1.75 lac.
He said that he went to KP a while ago to take Khattak’s interview along with the team of his program ‘Jirga’.
He said that apart from this, I neither booked a room in KP in the past five years nor made one for any of my guest. Somebody informed me yesterday that among the bills of KP house, there is one bill that includes my name and that bill is of Rs 1.
75 lac.
“I digged into it after receiving this information and got to know that the bill is from when I went to take former KP chief minister’s interview. Interestingly, the KP house charged the tea given to me and a team of another channel from national exchequer. This amounts to Rs 189,153,” the journalist revealed
Safi further said that instead of Geo news, the name of ‘Khyber TV’ is written along with his name on the bill.
The revelation by the journalist has raised many questions for Pervez Khattak and KP House administration.
