Breach Develop At Rohri Canal Near Tando Adam

TANDO ADAM, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Aug, 2024) Standing crops at hundreds of acres and many villages inundated after a 50 ft wide breach occurred at Rohri canal near tando Adam on Sunday.

According to a report, Residents of the villages used to start the breach-plugging work on their own but breach did not cease and water after entering in village Alam Dero spread to other villages.

Administration keeping in view the situation vacated many surrounding villages and shifted affected people to public school.

Divisional Commissioner Shaheed Benazir abad Muhammad Sajjad Hyder Shah along with Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Dr. Imran ul Hassan Khuwaja visited the breach site and reviewed the situation and directed officers to plug the breach immediately and submit a report to him.
