
Bus Carrying Tourists To Keenjhar Lake Overturns Near Thatta Bypass, Six Killed

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) As many as six people were killed and dozens other injured when a bus, en route to Keenjhar Lake was overturned into a ditch near the Thatta Bypass early Sunday morning.
According to rescue sources, the bus, carrying a group of tourists, overturned while taking a sharp turn, killing six passengers and injuring dozens of others, a private news channel reported.
Local authorities and rescue teams were quick to respond, reaching the crash site within minutes.
The injured were rushed to Karachi hospitals, with several reported to be in critical condition.
Efforts are ongoing to assist those affected by the tragic accident.
Rescue sources said the passengers were from Urangi Town, a locality in Karachi and were part of a group traveling to Keenjhar Lake for a recreational trip.
The majority of the injured passengers have been identified and efforts are underway to notify their families.
