Bye Election In PB-26 Quetta-III To Be Held On December 31: ECP

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Nov, 2018 ) :The Election Commission of Pakistan will hold bye election in PB-26 Quetta-III constituency on December 31.

According to a notification, the Election Commission issued the schedule for filing of nomination papers, filing of appeals, deciding of appeals and for withdrawal of candidature for this bye election.

Due to the election, the ECP has banned the posting and transfer of officers in the district of Quetta. No government functionary or elected representatives including local representatives will announce any development scheme for the constituency.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission has issued notification of the election of Senator Walid Iqbal of PTI ona general seat from Punjab and notification of election of Senator Seemee Ezdi on the reserved seat for womenfrom Punjab.
