Candy Drug Strawberry Quick Being Sold In Lahore

Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th March, 2019) Toxic strawberry quick candies are reportedly being sold in Lahore.
Media reports said that intoxicating quick candy is being sold in Lahore. Children like to eat this candy but the intoxicating elements in the candy is making them sick.
This candy is available at local shops in Rs 5 and Rs 10.
Mostly school going children buy these candies. The candies are said to be very good in taste but can cause Hepatitis B or C.
Children feel fresh after eating this candy for a short period but then they get addicted to it.
The children gradually get annoying and lazy after eating these candies and feel tired. Their attention is diverted from studies to mere sports and have an urge to have the candy again.
Parents by their children this quick candy but it has been revealed that it is toxic for children.
The administration has not yet taken any action against this candy.
This quick candy was banned in other countries several years ago but continues to be sold in Pakistan.
