
Capacity Building Training Held To Empower M&E AMOs

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) A week long comprehensive capacity-building training workshop held in the scenic valley of Shogran for Assistant Monitoring Officers of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) that has significantly enhanced their professional capabilities.
Organized by the Directorate General of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), the training was conducted in three batches and focused on strengthening the technical, analytical, and operational skills of M&E officers.
Sessions included key areas such as KPPRA rules, ETEA recruitment processes, the Ten billion Tree Tsunami Programme, planning cycles, modern monitoring techniques, evaluation methodologies, and technical report writing.
Led by a technical team from M&E Headquarters, the workshop featured expert input from Sajjad Khan (ADG), Mian Zakiullah (Moderator), and resource persons Akhtar Shahzad and Ejaz Hamid.
Logistical and facilitation support was provided by Sultan Khan, Abdul Wahid Shah, Aizaz, and Zeeshan Khan, ensuring smooth execution and an engaging learning environment.
Assistant Monitoring Officers through out the province appreciated the initiative and extended heartfelt gratitude to Usman Zaman, Director General M&E, for his leadership in organizing the training. Despite logistical challenges, the effort was lauded for its timeliness, relevance, and the boost it provided to team spirit and collaboration within the department.
Participants hailed the workshop as a significant step toward institutional development and expressed hope for more such opportunities in the future.
