CCPO, DIG Check Security At Polling Stations

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Oct, 2018 ) :Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) BA Nasir and DIG Operations Shehzad Akbar on Sunday reviewed various police stations to review security arrangements.
The CCPO visited polling stations at Walton Road, Qurban Degree College, Lalak Jan Shaheed Chowk, Central school for Girls Defence, whereas the DIG Operations visited Govt Fatima Jinnah College, Misri Shah, Shadman, Sheranwala Gate, Shadbagh, Queen Mary College, UET, Qila Gujjar Singh and other polling stations.
The CCPO and DIG Operations directed the policemen to perform their duties with responsibility and appreciated them for showing outstanding performance.
As many as 12,000 policemen under the supervision of 12 SPs were deployed at security duty for bye-polls in fourconstituencies of provincial capital.
