CDA Chief Calls For Reforms In Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Aug, 2024) Chairman CDA , Mohammad Ali Randhawa, on Friday emphasized the need for bringing reforms and modernization to the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI), enhancing its efficiency and service delivery to citizens.

During a meeting, the CDA chief stressed for strengthening administrative structure, increasing revenue, and enhancing service delivery through technology at MCI.

Randhawa directed the officials to identify new sources of income, eliminate revenue leakages, and establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate officer and employee performance regularly.

He also stressed the importance of digitizing office affairs, creating job descriptions for all departments, and improving service delivery through technology.

Additionally, the meeting also discussed plans to beautify recreational places, including food and drink stalls and sports grounds.

The outdoor advertisement policy for Islamabad was also briefed, which will be approved by the Federal government and implemented soon.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Officer Metropolitan Corporation and officers from various MCI departments.
