Celebrations Of Holi Continues

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2018 ) :Hindu community of Hyderabad is celebrating their religious and colorful festival for two days with religious fervor here. A special prayer, Holi procession are being held in temples.

Talking to APP here on Wednesday, member of the Hidu Panchayet Association Advocate M. Parkash said that our Government had provided the maximum facilities possible to all minorities and government planned to restore almost all minority religious sites in the country.

Vice Chancellor Liquat Medical University of Medical & Health Sciences Professor Bikha Ram Devrajani said that the Hindu community, played vital role in prosperity of Pakistan. Professor Bikha Ram Devrajani strongly criticized the extremism and terrorism, terming it against the code of conduct of any religion.

Program Manager at Development, Awareness and Management of Natural Resource (DAMAN) Krishna Kumari also underlined the need of forging unity irrespective of religion, creed and caste and joint struggle with hardworking, sincerity and honesty for the progress and development of the country.

Krishna Kumari explained that Holi is played with colours from 6am till 6pm. A devotee Shanti Maheshwari, who has been visiting the Shri Lakshmi Narayan temple every year since her childhood, said that they feel happy to celebrate Holi freely in Pakistan and never felt like a minority in the country, added.
