Chairman Distt Council Pledges To Resolve Public Issues

MULTAN, Jan 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Jan, 2017 ) : Chairman District Council Dewan Muhammad Abbas Bukhari said on Monday that all possible resources would be utilized to resolve public issues on a priority basis.
Addressing the inaugural session of District Assembly here at Raza Hall, he said every one would be given an opportunity in all sessions to highlight issues of their union councils and their solution would be also be discussed.
He pledged that funds would be given on the basis of equality. During the session, different chairman Ucs highlighted issues. Chairman minorities James Noor said there was no sewerage system in 30 colonies out of 42 ones and also demanded water filtration plants.
There were a total 142 members of District Assembly, including 70 of Multan, 25 of Shujabad and 22 of Jalalpur Pirwala. As many as 92 members of the District Assembly attended the session while 50 were absent.
