Chairman NAB Visits Lahore Office

Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (R) Javed Iqbal on Wednesday visited NAB Lahore office to review performance of Bureau in mega corruption cases.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Oct, 2018 ) :Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (R) Javed Iqbal on Wednesday visited NAB Lahore office to review performance of Bureau in mega corruption cases.
He said that logical end of corruption cases was the priority of NAB and it has no intention of victimization of any one. He said that NAB was making hectic efforts to prove corruption cases on solid basis and all resources were being used in this regard.
He, recalling issue of handcuff of professors, said an inquiry had been ordered and further report was awaited in this regard. However, he said NAB had given recommendations to IG Punjab for suspension of ASI Mukhtar Ahmad and case officer additional director Muhammad Rafi.
Later, Chairman NAB met with a delegation of professors and former vice chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran and ensured them for provision of justice. He said that eradication of corruption is the need of the hour.
