Chairman Senate Donates Rs. 1 Million To AFIC

Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani here on Tuesday donated Rs. 1 million to Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC). He handed over the cheque to Major General Sohail Aziz, Chief Commandant AFIC/NIDH, said a press release.

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Sep, 2018 ) :Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani here on Tuesday donated Rs. 1 million to Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC). He handed over the cheque to Major General Sohail Aziz, Chief Commandant AFIC/NIDH, said a press release.

He observed that the contribution of AFIC in health sector is commendable which is serving the armed forces as well as the general public. He said that the AFIC is an asset for the country and philanthropists should step forward to donate to this state of the art Institute for continuity of services.

The Chairman Senate remarked that this Institute is a role model for health sector institutes despite having low budget. Other health sector institutes can be made better by following the practices at AFIC, he added.
