Chaklala Cantonment Board Rawalpindi has decided to link water supply system to metering system

RAWALPINDI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th March, 2019) Chaklala Cantonment board Rawalpindi has decided to link water supply system to metering system.The water bill be issued according to consumption of water to be recorded on meters to all residential and commercial units The existing tariff basing on flat rate will be done away with.

Meter readers will be employed for reading the consumption on meters.

The recorded reading of meters will be connected with the computerized billing system and computerized bills will be issued to citizens.The meters to be installed on water supply connections will be installed first of all as pilot projects.

Samples of meters have been obtained from different companies on this count.This system will help arrest the inflow of complaints that water is not supplied and bill is sent regularly.
