
Chandio Lauds Journalists For Disseminating Facts To Masses

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th August, 2016) - Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Moula Buc Chandio commended the services of journalists and their sacrifices during the movements for restoration of democracy in the country as well as performing their professional responsibilities during war against terrorism. He paid such tributes while speaking as chief guest at the ceremony organised by the office bearers of Tando Jam Press Club on Saturday to pay tributes to martyred journalists, lawyers and other innocent people in the Quetta Blast. The Advisor said that despite hurdles and difficulties, the journalists continued their efforts for disseminating facts to masses.
The sacrifices which rendered by media persons in Quetta and other incidents are commendable, he added. The provincial government, he said fully committed to provide maximum facilities to journalists’ community so that they could not face any hurdle in performing their professional responsibilities. He said that Sind government under the leadership of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was making all out efforts to address the issues of the people and the Chief Minister personally taking interest to provide maximum facilities to the Karachiites and other parts of the province.
The Advisor said that law and order situation in Karachi has improved as a result of action initiated by the Rangers and Police.
The Advisor on the occasion assured complete cooperation in respect of repair of the building of Tando Jam Press Club and announced rupees two hundred thousand for its repair and renovation. Earlier, senior Journalist from Hyderabad Ali Hassan, nominated Chairman Tando Jam Union Council Mir Khan Muhammad Talpur, President Tando Jam Press Club Akhtar Raza, General Secretary Mustansar Hussain Jamali also addressed the ceremony. Among others, President Hyderabad Press Club Muhammad Wasim, Khalid Khokhar, PPP leaders Fayyaz Shah, Barkat Babbar, Azeeb Abro, Najib Abro, Zohaib Shah and Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur were also present on the occasion.
