Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 22nd April, 2019) Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar will call on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday amid the ongoing political upheaval in the country.
The two will discuss the political situation in the country.
Chaudhry Sarwar has done important meetings and contacts in the past 24 hours. He also met Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
He had earlier contacted the PMLQ leadership and discussed the political situation.
Meanwhile, talking to a private news channel on Sunday, the governor said reshuffling and changes in the cabinet are the prerogative of the prime minister and a routine matter.
He said democracy could not mature if institutions were not given independence and political interference was not finished.
Replying to a question, he said problems of the country could not be removed overnight and need some time, adding people would see visible change as compared to previous regimes with the passage of time.
Sarwar said difference of opinion was the beauty of a democratic system and all political parties had differences within parties.
