Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Directs Prioritizing Erstwhile FATA In Development Planning Process

Chief Secretary (CS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Naveed Kamran Baloch has directed authorities concerned to focus and prioritize inclusion of erstwhile FATA in process of development planning.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Oct, 2018 ) :Chief Secretary (CS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Naveed Kamran Baloch has directed authorities concerned to focus and prioritize inclusion of erstwhile FATA in process of development planning.
He said this while presiding over a meeting to discuss matters related to erstwhile merged tribal areas. The meeting among others was attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Planning, Secretary Agriculture, Secretary Information, Secretary education and concerned officials.
Chief Secretary directed expediting work on increasing working ambit of government machinery in merged areas. He said that progress and prosperity of these areas after merger is the responsibility of province adding all the concerned should liaise and work to achieve the objective effectively.
The participants also discussed measures to ensure coordination in ongoing development projects aiming mainstreaming of merged areas.
