LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th August, 2016) : Chinese companies have appreciated the role of Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) for making the best arrangements for them during their participation in a 3-day Textile Asia trade exhibition 2016 held here at Expo center.
Hu Chen, Assistant President Jiangsu New International Convention & Exhibition (JSNICE) talking to APP here on Monday, said that TDCP made the best arrangements for their accommodation, transportation, providing interpreters, sightseeing and various other facilities for them. Hu Chen said that Jiangsu and Punjab were sister provinces and JSNICE had arranged the Chinese delegation of exhibitors from Jiangsu province to Lahore.
"Our stay in Lahore has been very comfortable and we feel like home and all of it is because of TDCP", he said. Naveed Anjum, a TDCP official said that TDCP made these arrangements on `cost to cost' basis.
This means that TDCP served the visitors without charging any cost for its services, he elaborated. "Our priority is to attract more and more visitors and tourists to boost the national economy and increase investment as well as job opportunities for our people", he said. He said that the tourists from any part of the world could contact the TDCP for getting all types of information and cooperation to visit Punjab.
