Chinese Investors Express Desire To Invest In Tourism Sector: Minister

The Chinese investors Wednesday expressed desire to invest in tourism sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during a meeting with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Tourism Atif Khan here
The delegation appreciated the provincial government's measures in tourism sector and said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has great potential for investors and they wanted to exploit the opportunity.
The Minister while briefing the delegation said the Federal and KP governments were paying attention for promotion of tourism sector, adding that the KP government has decided to set up 11 comprehensive tourism zones in the province.
He informed the delegation about remains of Buddhists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that the government had allocated Rs 500 million for protection of historic places.
Atif also informed the delegation about the new visa policy for the tourists and assured the government would provide all facilities and security to investors and tourists.
He said Pakistan and China are time-tested friends and China always stood with Pakistan in every hour of need.
