Christmas Bazaars To Be Functional From Dec 22 At Faisalabad

Seven special Christmas bazaars would be functional from December 22 to provide essential commodities to the Christian community at subsidized rates in the district.

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Dec, 2018 ) :Seven special Christmas bazaars would be functional from December 22 to provide essential commodities to the Christian community at subsidized rates in the district.

A spokesman of the local administration told APP here Wednesday that the bazaars would be setup at various sites including Saint Anthony school Christian Town, Pinto Ground Maryam Abad Warispura, Catholic Church Madina Town, Grain Market Chak Jhumra, Bilal Shaheed Park Civil Club Road Tandlianwala, Christian Colony Liaqat Park Sammundri and Masjid Bazaar Jaranwala.

He said that ample stock of daily use items including flour, sugar, ghee, pulses, fruits, vegetables, beverages and others would be made available in the bazaars.

Special monitoring teams would also be activated to ensure the provision of commodities at fixed rates in the bazaars which would remain functional upto December 24, he added.
