Citizens In Festive Mood Visiting Recreational Spots During Eid Days

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jun, 2018 ) :The enthusiastic people of all ages in festive mood wearing colorful dresses are visiting the recreational and tourist spots of Federal capital on the 1st day to enjoy the blissful occasion of the holy Eid-Ul-Fitr festivity.

A report aired by a private news channel said, the citizens remained busy exchanging greetings and spending their time with their dear and near ones. After offering Eid prayers, hundreds of citizens thronged to Zoo, city parks and other recreational spots.

All the public parks, recreational spots, zoos and other popular destinations witnessed a huge rush of visitors belonging to all age groups on the Eid days amid pleasant weather conditions.

According to citizens , "It's really very exciting to enjoy Eid at the aesthetically developed recreational spot on eid days with their family and friends.

"We have a lot of fun and we are also planning to cook special meal," said Muhammad Waseem in Lake view park Islamabad with his friends.

"It is nice to visit a picnic spot during Eid holidays," said Shumaila Noreen, a working journalist, who was visiting Damn e Koh.

Rain before the Eid turned the weather pleasant in the twin cities, which was an added incentive for the people to visit parks and other public places, she added.

"We thought the weather would remain cloudy because of the rain. So I brought my family to the park today," said Hassan Arsalan , who was accompanied by his family and friends.

Irum Javed said that spending time in the park was a great activity for the children.

Besides picnicking, the people continued visiting places of their relatives to exchange greetings on this auspicious occasion.
