City Traffic Police (CTP) Launches Crackdown In Faisalabad

City Traffic Police (CTP) launched a crackdown against underage drivers and use of tinted glasses and illegal number plates in the vehicles.
FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Sep, 2018 ) :City Traffic Police (CTP) launched a crackdown against underage drivers and use of tinted glasses and illegal number plates in the vehicles.
A CTP spokesman said Tuesday that underage drivers were putting their as well as other road users' lives at risk.
Similarly, most of the vehicles having tinted glasses or illegal number plates were used in criminal activities.
Therefore, on special direction of Regional Police Officer (RPO) Faisalabad, the CTP launched the crackdown.
Action would be taken against traffic violators so that road accidents could be reduced.
In this connection, sufficient staff of traffic police has been deputed at all important points, crossings and roads while CTO will conduct surprise visits to check the performance of traffic police, spokesman added.
