Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd January, 2019) Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa exonerated a rape accused after eight years.
According to details, a two-member Supreme Court bench held the hearing of a Sargodha girl’s rape case on Thursday.
The court remarked that it looks like a case of adultery. The girl did not register any report until seven months.
CJP Khosa remarked that these days the definition of justice has changed to a decision in one’s favour.
He said that people term it injustice if the decision is against them.
The CJP said that the prosecution failed to prove her case. The girl was adult when she was allegedly raped.
When people saw her, only then she called it a rape.
Moreover, the medical report also did not reveal anything about rape.
The case was registered in 2010.
Terming it a case of adultery, the CJP released the rape accused after he had served eight years of sentence and disposed off the Sargodha rape case.
