
Clashes Between Youth, Indian Armed Forces In Bandipora

ISLAMABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Augst,2016) : Clashes between youth and Indian armed forces erupted in Nathpora area of Bandipora district, on Monday . Scores of youth defying strict curfew and other restrictions came out of their houses and staged protest demonstrations in the district against observance of India's Independence Day in the territory , KMS reported.
The Hurriyet leadership has appealed to the people to observe the day as black day. The forces used teargas shells to quell the protests. The area was located close to Police Lines where the Independence Day celebrations were being held.
