CM Bugti For Timely Completion Of Development Projects

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Aug, 2024) Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday said that measures were being taken to remove all obstacles in the completion of development schemes in a comprehensive and systematic manner and complete them on time.
He shared these views while presiding over a review meeting of progress on development projects for the financial year 2024-25.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister has directed to finalize the approval of all unapproved development projects by the relevant forum by 28th of this month.
The CM also instructed that all the concerned members of the Assembly should be taken into confidence in this regard and the implementation of delayed departmental development projects should be expedited.
The meeting was briefed by Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Development regarding the progress on ongoing and new development projects included in the current financial year.
He apprised the meeting about the progress made so far on the sector wise development projects while the meeting was also briefed about the authorization and release status of development projects.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that for the timely completion of all development projects, it was necessary to get their approval from the relevant forum as soon as possible because the people could benefit from its fruits only with the early completion of the development schemes.
Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Noshirwani, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Hafiz Abdul Basit and other relevant officials including Finance Secretary participated in the meeting.
