CM Directs Officials Of PMRU To Effectively Streamline Government Machinery At Provincial, District Levels

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 06th Nov, 2017 ) :Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed the officials of Performance Management and Reforms Unit (PMRU) to work devotedly for effectively streamlining and monitoring of the government machinery both at provincial and district levels.
He also asked for evolving proper mechanism to register and resolve public complaints as well as computerizing all the functions of the government so that performance of the departments and institutions was fully seen and availed by the public.
He further directed for establishing well equipped information technology cells in all the other departments on the pattern of finance, planning and development departments. He said this while chairing a briefing about performance of the PMRU here on Monday.
CM's Principal Secretary Syed Shahab Ali Shah, Special Secretary to CM Akhtar Saeed Turk, Coordinator PMRU Aadil Safi and other officers attended and apprised the Chief Minister of the implementation status on reforms so far made by the provincial government as well as the performance and achievements of PMRU.
Pervez Khattak further asked the PMRU officials to keep comprehensive record of the public contacts and open katcheries of the Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Police, Revenue and other authorities at district and tehsil levels.
He underlined the need of using print, electronic and social media including the official FM Radio for this purpose. He also directed for linking PMRU with CM Complaints and Redressal Cell at Chief Minister's Secretariat Peshawar.
The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction that PMRU was closely helping the government departments in implementation of the existing and new laws, expediting the file works of the government's affairs through file tracking system, making data base of the financial and human resources, timely advertising and filling the vacant posts in government functionaries, quick disposal of the promotion cases of the government employees as well as resolving the public complaints and demands.
He expressed the confidence that all the departments and institutions of the provincial government would continue working with spirit of team work to provide maximum relief to the public.
