CM Promises Mega Uplift Project For Multan Soon

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Nov, 2018 ) :Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday said that mega development project for Multan would be announced soon.

He was talking to members of National and provincial assemblies from Multan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) representatives from the district and senior officials at Circuit House Multan.

Sardar Buzdar said that development projects worth billions of rupees had been announced for Dera Ghazi Khan, Taunsa and Barthi, adding that the previous governments ignored southern Punjab including Multan.

He said that the PTI government had diverted resources towards backward areas, adding that the party bagged votes in the name of bringing about a real change in the country.

On the occasion, the parliamentarians said that the development package for DG Khan, Taunsa and Barthi was historic.

They said that south Punjab would soon be a developed area of the province.
