CNG Stations To Remain Closed In Morning And Evening Times In Peshawar

District administration has directed the closure of CNG stations from 7:00 A.M to 10:00 A.M and 6:00 P.M to 9:00 P.M to ensure the provision of natural gas to domestic consumers
The directives were issued during an open kachery in Gulbahar area of the city on Friday. The district administration has warned the violations of the ban of stern legal action.
Besides, Special Assistant to KP CM on Information Technology, Kamran Bangash, MNA Shaukat Ali and Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh, Nazim Town-I Zahid Nadeem, neighbourhood nazims, revenue staff the officers of the concerned departments were present at large.
During the open kachery the people highlighted their problems and most of them complained of the low gas pressure in their respective areas, which prompted the DC to take steps for guaranteeing the provision of gas during breakfast and dinners times and closure of the CNG stations.
Some residents also complained against the lack of cleanliness on which the authorities of the Water and Sanitation Services Programme (WSSP) were directed for bringing improvement in the cleanliness.
The people also requested the installation of shutter on the funeral place and posting of watchman and gardener as well. They also demanded the construction of overhead bridge for pedestrians at Jameel Chowk, removal of the illegal speed breakers and conducting of anti-encroachment operation in the locality.
Speaking on the occasion, Special Assistant to KP CM Kamran Bangash and MNA Shaukat Aliexpressed happiness over the holding of open kachery to resolve the problems of the people at their door steps.
