Commissioner Bahawalpur Directs Removal Of Encroachments Around Roads

Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Capt (retd) Saqib Zafar has said that encroachments must be removed from all the roads of the city and non compliance of this order would not be tolerated.
BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2018 ) :Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Capt (retd) Saqib Zafar has said that encroachments must be removed from all the roads of the city and non compliance of this order would not be tolerated.
He made these remarks while presiding over a meeting regarding traffic issues of Bahawalpur City at his office here Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by Regional Police Officer Bahawalpur Riffat Mukhtar Raja, Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Rana Muhammad Saleem Afzal, District Police Officer Bahawalpur Capt (retd) Mustansar Feroze and other concerned officers.
Commissioner directed to devise a foolproof traffic plan for rush hours in order to ensure uninterrupted flow of traffic. He said that traffic signals must be functional and encroachments around roads should be removed. The meeting was informed that the signals have become functional and more signals are being installed at different places of the city.
