Commissioner Bahawalpur Visits Control Room To Monitor Security Of Processions, Majalis

Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Nayyar Iqbal has said that all the processions and Majalis of 9 Moharam-ul-Haram held in all the three districts of the division have concluded peacefully.

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2018 ) :Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Nayyar Iqbal has said that all the processions and Majalis of 9 Moharam-ul-Haram held in all the three districts of the division have concluded peacefully.

He said that code of conduct issued by the Home Department was implemented in true letter and spirit for which administrative and security departments are striving round the clock.

He made these remarks during his visit to Control Room for monitoring CCTV live feeds of various processions and Majalis from around the division.

He said that total 85 processions were taken out today in the division besides 158 Majalis. He said that 5508 police officers and personnel were on duty for the security of these processions and Majalis. He said that administration and police are in touch with Ulema of all the sects and the overall peaceful atmosphere is prevailing in the division.
