
Commissioner Hazara Reviews Revenue Department Performance

ABBOTTABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2025) Commissioner Hazara Division, Fayaz Ali Shah, chaired a detailed monthly performance review meeting of the Revenue Department at the Commissioner’s Office Abbottabad. The session focused on resolving public issues, improving service delivery, and eliminating corruption across the division.
Deputy Commissioners from Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, and Battagram participated in the meeting, along with settlement officers from Abbottabad and Mansehra. Officers presented detailed briefings on departmental performance, public complaint redressal, revenue collection, and ongoing settlement operations.
Commissioner Fayaz Ali Shah directed Deputy Commissioners to appoint designated officers for each tehsil to conduct weekly visits, address public grievances on-site, and ensure timely solutions. He emphasized the need for clean, well-maintained tehsil offices with comfortable seating, safe drinking water, and a welcoming environment for citizens.
Staff at Service Delivery Centers and Registrar Offices were instructed to maintain professionalism and treat the public with respect. The Commissioner underscored the importance of eradicating corruption, ordering strict staff monitoring and decisive action against the tout mafia. Any employee found involved in misconduct will face immediate disciplinary action.
He also instructed the early completion of settlement processes in Abbottabad and Mansehra, calling for clear, time-bound work plans from the responsible officers.
In his concluding remarks, the Commissioner directed all patwaris to ensure their presence in their respective jurisdictions. Those without designated offices must arrange rented premises without delay. Absentee patwaris will face strict action.
