Commissioner Hyderabad Directs For Removal Of Encroachments

The Commissioner Hyderabad Division Muhammad Abbass Baloch has directed the district administration to remove encroachment from Muhammadi Chowk to Railway Crossing areas of Hyderabad SITE area in order to clear way for the choked drainage network.
At a meeting at his Camp Office here on Friday, the Commissioner also directed the officials of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) to improve cleanliness in the city and to take action against the absentee and ghost employees.
The Commissioner instructed all concerned officers to implement the directives of the Supreme Court mandated Water Commission in letter and spirit as no negligence in this regard would be tolerated.
He directed that defected street lights in Qasimabad taluka should be immediately replaced and to ensure disposal of sewage from Wadhu Wah and release of fresh water in order to avert pollution in the area.
Baloch also directed the HMC and Qasimabad Municipal Committee to place dustbins in all parts of the city to prevent throwing of the solid waste on the roads and streets.
He asked representatives of Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade and Industry to ensure the payment of outstanding water dues.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Commissioner-I Syed Muhammad Sajjad Haider, Deputy Commissioner Syed Aijaz Ali Shah, Managing Director WASA Agha Abdul Raheem, officers of HMC and representatives of Hyderabad SITE Association of Trade and Industry.
Meanwhile, anti encroachment drive was carried out in parts of City and Latifabad talukas, led by the Assistant Commissioners.
