Commissioner Hyderabad directs to preserve, computerize allotment record of new vegetable market

The Commissioner Hyderabad Muhammad Abbas Baloch has asked the Director General Agriculture Extension Sindh to preserve and computerize the allotment record of new vegetable market of Hyderabad.

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :The Commissioner Hyderabad Muhammad Abbas Baloch has asked the Director General Agriculture Extension Sindh to preserve and computerize the allotment record of new vegetable market of Hyderabad.

The computerized allotment record should be provided to Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, the Commissioner directed while presiding over a meeting here at his office on Monday which reviewed the arrangements of functioning of the market at the earliest.

He also asked the officers concerned no violation against law while building the new infrastructure of the vegetable market and the priorities should be set for shifting of old vegetable market to its new place.

All concerned departments should extend closed cooperation and coordination in this regard, he said and added that the schemes of public health and WASA should be completed at the earliest.

He asked the officers of HESCO to visit the new vegetable market along with Director General Agriculture Extension and ensure the provision of electricity according to demand.

He also asked the Director General Agriculture Extension to deposit the demand note of HESCO for acquiring electricity connections for vegetable market.

The Commissioner also directed the officers of works and services department to complete all ongoing construction work including boundary walls, sheds and roads of the market on priority basis. The required funds for activation of the market have been released by the government and now there is the need to work with dedication and make the market a model vegetable market of the province, he added.

He also directed the Deputy Commissioner to hold meeting with all stakeholders, heard their grievances and make sure the shifting of old vegetable market at its new venue. He directed the participants of the meeting to hold a meeting at new vegetable market next week and also invite the stakeholders to participate in the said meeting.

All officers concerned should attend the meeting with complete homework so that the direction of early activation of new vegetable market could be framed without any further delay, he added.
