Committee Constitute To Take Action Against Illegal Bus Stands

PESHAWAR, Dec 2 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 02nd Dec, 2016 ) : The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Friday constituted committee with a task to close illegal bus stands operating in various areas of the district.
Secretary, Provincial Transport Authority (PTA) Peshawar would act as chairman while Secretary RTA Peshawar, Amir Nawab, Office Assistant, Directorate of Transport and Mass Transit Department will be members of the committee.
Terms of reference of the committee are to probe into the matter and close all illegal Stands/Addas operating in District Peshawar besides furnishing a comprehensive report on the subject matter within 15 days positively.
It was notified by Directorate of Transport and Mass Transit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Meanwhile, Secretary Provincial Transport Authority (PTA) who is also chairman of the concerned committee has scheduled a inspection programme for taking necessary action against the illegal bus stands in the city from Hayatabad Toll Plaza.
According to the schedule the checking of illegal bus stands on Ring Road (complete), Kohat Road upto Zangali check post, G.T Road up to Taro Jabba and Jamrud Road upto Karkhano Market would be carried on December 5, 2016, checking on Charsadda Road up to Naguman and Shabqadar, Warsak Road up to Matta, Pajaggi Road up to Bashirabad, Ganj Road up to Ring Road Hazarkhani and Dalazak Road up to Pakha Ghulam would be carried on December 6, 2016, checking on Peshawar city Urban Area including Pusht-e-Qissa Khawani, Namak Mandi, Bhana Mari, inside area of Zargar Abad-Hazar Khawani Road and also illegal stands of Quin Qui Rickshaws will be carried on December 7, 2016.
Similarly, checking of illegal operation of Toyota Motor cars (2Ds) stands near General Bus Stand Haji Camp, Charsadda Bus Stand and Kohat General Bus Stand would be carried on December 8, 2016.
