ISLAMABAD, Sept 19 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2017 ) : The Federal Flood Commission (FFC) has said that at present there is no flood situation in the country and all main Rivers (Indus, Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej) are flowing normal.

According to daily FFC report on Tuesday, present Combined Live Storage of Tarbela, Mangla & Chashma Reservoirs is 10.039 MAF (72.45%) as against the maximum capacity of 13.856 MAF. Tarbela & Mangla Reservoir elevations are 1516.87 feet & 1217.90 feet respectively (i.e.

33.13 feet & 24.10 feet below their respective maximum conservation levels of 1550.

According to Flood Forecasting Division, Lahore, mainly dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. No prominent rainfall event has been reported by FFD, Lahore during the past 24 hours.
