Conference On Radicalization, Challenges At Campus Live Concludes

The three-day international conference titled "Radicalization: perceptions, realities and challenges of campus life," concluded at Air University Islamabad on Friday.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Sep, 2018 ) :The three-day international conference titled "Radicalization: perceptions, realities and challenges of campus life," concluded at Air University Islamabad on Friday.
The sub themes of the conference were religion, education, identity, culture and media.
The conference was a collaborative endeavour involving Air University, Council of Islamic Ideology, Muslim Institute and Centre for Research and Security Studies.
On the last day, a workshop on the theme of countering extremist narratives was held. Dr Khalid Zaheer from Al-Mawrid Institute delivered a lecture in which he stressed that only a counter narrative from religion could counter religious extremism. Dr Anwar Hassan from ptv said that electronic media needed proper regulation.
