Consortium Of Chinese Investment Companies Meet Chief SBI

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd September, 2016) : Chairperson Sindh board of Investment (SBI), Ms. Naheed Memon Friday held two separate meetings with consortium comprising Chinese companies at her office here on Friday.
The chief SBI briefed the Chinese companies regarding investment opportunities in Sindh in the water supply and sewerage, housing and town planning, infrastructure development, roads and railways network, agriculture and projects in public and private sector, said a statement.
She told the delegations that the Sindh government are offering attractive offers and incentives to the investors in various sectors. She also highlighted the importance and benefits of investments in these sectors with reference to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
In the first meeting, a 21-member delegation of International Green Economy Association (IGEA) was led by Vice Chairman IGEA, Zhao Michael. Zhao Michael told the chief SBI that the IGEA works in the China as think tank on the Green Economy Projects, which has over 1500 enterprises as its members.
The chief SBI held second meeting with the CYPE, group of Chinese investment companies, led by its Chairman Hu Xiongzhe. The delegation comprised officials of Cripe Investment Managements Group of China told Ms. Naheed Memon that the Chinese companies are interested to work in projects of medical parks, education city, hospitals, roads and railways infrastructure.
